Four of our wonderful dogs convened in Hamburg NY for a busy weekend. Present and working well were Rocket and Wayne from Becky's first litter with Brenner, and Feist and Reve (co-bred with dear friends Linda and Rory Friedow) from Becky's second litter with Marley. FRIDAY - in Obedience, Rocket got her final UD leg (the only qualifier in Utility A) to earn her CH UDT in both Canada and the US. This is a very rare accomplishment, even in our very talented breed. Congratulations to handler Norma King and proud husband Gord.

News from Welland and Trout Creek October 9-12 2009

Wayne showed in Welland, and took 2 Group 4th placements under judges Martin Doherty and Joan Beech. Our good friend and and breeder Scott Johnson helped us out with the showing, as I traveled to Trout Creek for a 6-show set in 3 days. Kathy Derrick and her lovely Charm came up from Wisconsin, and Charm got her Canadian CH in fine form, with 3 BOS, 2 BOB and 1 Group 3, the last under Neil Graves. Feist did her part, taking a BOB as well. Oneida girls were in the ribbons in all 6 shows, and Wayne did a fine job holding down the fort at home. We are very proud.
