St. Catharines shows. August 21-23 2009

Wayne pulled off a "hat trick" this weekend! He took 3 group placements: a second under Nils Molin from Sweden, a third under Freddie Peddie from Ontario, and a fourth under Tan Hock from Malaysia. He was solid and happy in spite of residual bad weather on Saturday from the tornadic activity in Ontario earlier last week. He continues to impress judges, members of the show community and spectators.

American Belgian Tervuren Club rankings

Charm, a lovely bitch from Becky's first litter, is currently in the top 10 in both the herding and the conformation (bitches) rankings that are maintained by the ABTC. She is # 6 in herding, and # 8 in conformation (bitches). Charm is yet another Oneida Belgian with a purpose who looks beautiful while fulfilling that purpose.

News from far and wide _ August 13 to 16, 2009

Some of our lovely puppies and their owners have been having great fun recently! Reve and Anne Williams (NY) were at a show, and handsome Reve showed like a real trooper in the ring, in spite of the heat and humidity. Anne is doing a great job with this handsome young boy. Littermate Kirra and her proud owners Jane Alexander and John Flanagan (CA) were in Greeley CO for the supported shows. Lovely Kirra took RWB twice in a strong bitch entry, and won her class on the third day. She showed beautifully, and earned some very nice comments from the judges.

Kilbride all breed and specialty shows - Aug. 7-9 2009

Wayne had a great weekend in Milton. On Saturday, he took Breed in an entry where all 4 varieties of Belgians were represented, and went on to take a Group 3 in tough competition. Thanks to judge Donna Conod for these wins. On Sunday, he took the Breed and was pulled in a very competitive Group under judge Brian Taylor. Later on Sunday, in blistering heat and dodging severe thunderstorms, he took the Breed in the Herding Specialty and went on to take a Group 3. Thanks to judge Walter Pinsker for topping off a great weekend for us.
